Mothering Sunday 2025
As March progresses, we have Mothering Sunday on the 30th of March 2025. Mother’s Day is again celebrating women but giving a day to women that have dedicated their lives and love to being a mother, whether that is as a biological mother, fostered mother, stepmother, non-biological, or a friend that is your motherly figure.
Being a mother often means sacrificing personal aspirations, juggling careers, and dealing with the general pressure of being a mother. So, our idea this Mothering Sunday is that you can get your ‘motherly’ figure out and about and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Do something that will benefit your mental health and get you both moving! Pilates and yoga are great for two people. Or going on a nature walk and grabbing a coffee together, as a reward after, is also the perfect way to bond. Here are some more ideas, such as a flower arranging class!
Doing a partner workout with your mum is great fun, either attend a class at your local gym or take part in a dance or HIIT workout at home. Have a laugh and don’t take yourselves too seriously.

Key Takeaways
Always remember that to fully empower those around you, you must feel empowered yourself. Feeling confident and giving yourself grace is so important, especially as a woman. Often, we feel the pressures of keeping up with those around us and are constantly battling with our inner monologue.
We find that making time for yourself, yes, doing something just for you, at least once a week (more ideally) is a key component to building on your own empowerment, whether this is a class, reading a few pages of that book you have (probably collecting dust), or journaling. Whatever makes you feel fulfilled and like you have given some of your time to just you—that is what feeds into the inner growth we are looking for. Then we can look outside and start empowering others.
How are you going to start your empowerment journey this month?
